Time commitment: Wednesdays, 10:30am-1:30pm
Location: garden space at Power to Be, 4633 Prospect Lake Rd, Victoria.
About the program:
The Companion Planting garden group program hosts adults with intellectual disabilities. The Wednesday group is 4 weeks, participants will learn about caring for plants, connecting with the land, themselves, and each other.
The Group Assistant will:
- helps the lead facilitator in setting up/clean up
- facilitating break-out groups
- help plan for following week’s program
Requirements:
- CRC will be required.
- Education or experience in horticulture, disability rights.
- Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities an asset.
