Horticultural Therapist at Village of Wentworth Heights

Pay rate: $25/hour

Time commitment: 7.5 hours weekly, with the opportunity for an additional day from May to October

Start date: ASAP

Short summary:

Our Horticultural Therapist will plan gardening-based activities, either on a per-session basis or incorporated into a larger curriculum.  Providing hands on experiences for our long-term care residents including, but not limited to planting seeds and caring for plants both indoors and outside.  

Requirements:

• Be enrolled in or completed a Degree in Horticulture Therapy or equivalent 
• Completed the required 480 hours of internship
• Be an eligible member of the Canadian Horticulture Therapy Association
