Horticultural Therapy Program Volunteer

This role supports horticultural therapy programming with older adults at Kiwanis Village, a seniors’ housing community. Volunteers or students assist with therapeutic garden activities, seasonal planting, and indoor nature-based programs that promote connection, purpose, and well-being. The opportunity offers hands-on experience working with seniors in a supportive, person-centred environment, alongside a Registered Horticultural Therapist. Ideal for those interested in aging, dementia-informed care, and therapeutic use of plants and gardens.

Time: Tuesday or Fridays; between 9:30-3:30

Requirements: CRC (done upon volunteer orientation)
